I painted this yesterday. I really like it! It is an oil palette knife piece on an old canvas.

I’m not selling anything. Let me start with that. But I just want to give a shout out to all my friends that have small businesses and bust their tails to provide for their families. I count it a privilege that I get to support these amazing women. Sure, I buy plenty of stuff from corporate America, but the dollars I spend on hair products, makeup, lotion, oils, clothes, toothpaste, kitchen gadgets, specialty foods, and creative products.. these are the dollars that I count as well spent. So keep on keeping on you amazing entrepreneurs! #smallbusiness #womensupportingwomen

#givingtuesday As a 20 year veteran public school art and theatre teacher, I know that fine arts education is vital for quality schools and happy students. Great programs don’t just happen by accident. Quality fine arts educator prep programs are crucial. Now that my job is to help prepare future theatre teachers, I’m putting my money where my mouth is.
