I painted this yesterday. I really like it! It is an oil palette knife piece on an old canvas.

When life is uncertain, it’s funny how our bodies crave the comfort foods of our childhood certainties. So this morning for breakfast, I ate an egg roll prepared by my mom and a chocolate no-bake cookie prepared by my sister. It was exactly what I needed. #lifeisuncertain #foodishealing
Post EP study and SVT ablation. Still in the laying flat stage, but nice to see his smiling face! Hope to go home tomorrow. #nomorearrythmia #happyheart @dkmclemore
When life is uncertain, a good long walk restores the soul. Watching the sunrise along the way makes it even better. As I struggle with my hip, I’m learning to embrace the walk. I don’t get that awesome runners high on the walk, but I do get a calming centering from walking. Finding the balance between the runners high and the restorative walking is key for my mental and physical health. #findingbalance #walking #getoutside
So very proud to be here to witness @maddiegmassey ‘s graduation from Texas Woman’s University with a degree in music therapy! Next up? Grad school! She makes me proud every day, but days like this are extra special. 🎶🎵#collegegraduation #musictherapy #txwomans
5 miles running + 1 mile walk to enjoy the beautiful morning. Happy Thursday! #runningmom #happylife
Feeling a little panicky… but another big step in the right direction!!! #phdinprogress #comprehensiveexam @ucumberlands
